Gorillaz live on Jools Holland 27.04.10

Last nights Jools Holland was always going to be quite special with Gorillaz in the lineup and they proved why with two stunning performances. With both Mos Def and Bobby Womack on vocals, Stylo was their opening choice and rightly so as the flagship single from Plastic Beach.

This was followed by the special Record Store Day single White Flag featuring The National Orchestra For Arabic and
the MC talents of Kano and Bashy.

Have a peek at the performances below, I am sure Damon Albarn is a proud man today.

LCD Soundsystem 'Drunk Girls' video

LCD Soundsystem return next month with their third studio album This Is Happening and in a nutshell it's awesome. The first official single to be taken from the album is the tumultuous and brazen Drunk Girls, an all out sing-a-long from start to finish. The video is as equally raucous as the song and quite funny too.

It's safe to say James Murphy and co have come back with a bang leaving few disappointed.

Thee Vicars are coming to town...

They are a vivacious quartet from the UK who play tremendous raw rock n' roll, garage and 60's influenced R & B, ladies and gents it is your duty to check out Thee Vicars.

These boys have two albums under their belt (Back On The Street & Psychotic Beat) and a handful of E.P's/singles, which is great going for a band only 3 years together.

Delphic - Halcyon Clancy Remix

I love it when a top remix comes my way and hats off to London music producer Rich Clancy, for sending me over his cheeky remix of Delphic's Halcyon. The CLANCY remix gives an already enslaving Halcyon a bold and far more vivacious feel and is a perfect way to start the party this Easter weekend.
